Number 1 and 2 are actually connected.
Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek God’s Kingdom first and these things shall follow.” Many people try and use biblical principles to simply accumulate material things to meet their own desires. Others believe in order to be something they must have “things” so they pursue the “things” instead of first pursuing God’s Kingdom. James 1:17 teaches us that a double minded man can receive nothing from the Lord. Sometimes we tend to have one foot in the system of the world, while we stick the other foot in the Kingdom of Heaven. We also find people making career decisions based on making more money yet they have neglected to ask God if He even wanted them to take the position. Was He even in it? Another example of double mindedness is when a person experiences financial difficulty and their response is to stop tithing, which is actually their seed for their future. Also, please note that kingdom Prosperity is not a get rich wealth scheme. We’re talking about a lifestyle!
Number 3. Are you in the assignment that God has called you for?
In Genesis we see that God has given all mankind a mandate to steward the Earth. So it doesn’t matter if you’re a lawyer, athlete, policeman, or doctor you are equally called into the ministry, even as a five-fold minister is. But we must find our God given assignment and call. The talents that God has given us are where our divine prosperity is found. Many people are in professions they don’t like or enjoy. Maybe it’s what one of their parents did and they feel an obligation to follow suite – but it’s not what they are gifted for. Instead of prospering in it they get frustrated and burnt out AND they don’t have the provision of Heaven. Here’s the will of God for your life – that you would discover the life that Jesus came to bring you so you could represent Him accurately. And in pursuing Him first you will find your greatest joy and the prosperity of heaven. So evaluate yourself according to these principles. Is the Kingdom of God your primary vision? Are you a double minded man? Are you in the assignment that God has called you?
I bless you to be fully convinced in what God has called you to do and to experience the fullness of Him.
